Embedded software, from silicon up.

Who I am, where I've worked, and what I'm looking for.

Open to work Available for new roles

I'm an Embedded Software Engineer with ~3 years delivering production C/C++ firmware for automotive ECUs on Tier-1 programs. My home is the hardware/software boundary — register-level programming, real-time constraints, and on-target debugging.

Over three years at Avelabs (Arrow Electronics Group) I built bare-metal MCAL drivers from scratch on Infineon AURIX TC36x (TriCore) and, separately, delivered a complete UDS diagnostic stack (ISO 14229) on a production body-control ECU — from register-level drivers up to full diagnostic and communication software, all under ASPICE processes.

My core strength is the full stack from the register up: reading the reference manual, mapping registers, handling interrupts and timing precisely, and tracking down stubborn low-level bugs with TRACE32, CANoe, and a scope on the bench. I'm systematic and process-aware — I care about getting it right and communicating clearly.

I'm now expanding across RTOS, embedded Linux, and edge AI so I can take connected, intelligent devices end to end — and I'm honest about where I'm expert versus where I'm ramping (see Tech Skills).

Embedded Software R&D Engineer

Avelabs (Arrow Electronics Group) · Automotive

Delivered production firmware for automotive ECUs in C/C++ on Infineon AURIX TriCore across two Tier-1 programs, working the full stack from the register level up under ASPICE quality processes.

  • Smart actuation (AURIX TC36x): MCAL drivers from scratch — ADC, Port, ICU, PWM, IOM, SENT, GPIO — plus PMIC (TLF35585) safe-state firmware, watchdog/ABIST state machines, and a full SENT pressure-sensor acquisition pipeline.
  • BCM diagnostics: a complete UDS stack (ISO 14229) in C — services 0x22/0x2E/0x31/0x2F/0x14/0x19 — with session concurrency, strict timing, and NVM-backed data; AUTOSAR BSW (DCM/DEM/NvM/COM/ComStack) via Vector DaVinci.
  • Integrated Simulink model-based C/C++ into AUTOSAR Classic via full ARXML configuration, resolving data-flow and scheduling conflicts across component boundaries.
  • TRACE32 assembly-level debugging (interrupt vectors, timing-violation root-cause) and PCB validation with oscilloscope and voltmeter.
  • Full ASPICE SWE.1–SWE.6 lifecycle with requirements-to-test traceability (Polarion/EWM); Bazel builds, Git/SVN, Jenkins CI/CD; daily collaboration with teams in Japan, Mexico, and the USA.
